TLC WirelessWall is NIST-certified as meeting the rigorous FIPS 140-2
requirements and complies with a variety of DoD and civilian agency
specifications. It uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cryptography to
encrypt 802.11 data payloads and hide sensitive network information such
as IP addresses, ports and protocols from unauthorized listeners. It effectively
enables WPA2-Enterprise Class protection even on APs that don't support it.
The software uses an open architecture that seamlessly integrates with
existing authentication and directory services. It supports any mix of
802.11a, b, g, h, j or n systems from any vendors.
TLC WirelessWall is made up of the following components:
- WirelessWall Client - Encrypts and decrypts all data at each
user's connection.
- WirelessWall Access Controller - Enforces access policies,
performs session management tasks required for secure wireless LAN operation,
encryption/decryption, firewall filtering, and secure mobility services.
- WirelessWall Manager - Provides centralized configuration
monitoring and management of the secured network. Integrates seamlessly with
enterprise directory and authentication mechanisms such as Active Directory,
LDAP, and RADIUS, providing easy creation and maintenance of access policies
for mobile users.
They are installed in your network and on your mobile laptops and remote PCs.
They require very little configuration and take advantage of your existing
systems and infrastructure.
